Ms. Leeden is a proven Resources Executive with two decades of experience, including 10 years at public company board level. She has led businesses in senior positions at publicly traded companies as well as developed and built several successful resource focused start-ups. Ms. Leeden has experience at negotiating and executing win-win business transactions with a multitude of companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Ms. Leeden is experienced in capital raising, mergers & acquisitions, and complex joint venture negotiations. She has extensive technical experience from exploration through to mine construction, across a range of commodities, and has managed projects and companies in the Americas, Africa, and Australasia while holding leadership positions with Battery Minerals, Rio Tinto, LionOre and Strike Resources. Ms. Leeden holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geology with Honours from the Western Australian School of Mines and is a member of the American Exploration and Mining Association, the Australian Institute of Geoscientists, Nevada Mineral Exploration Coalition, and the Geological Society of Nevada. Ms. Leeden resides in Nevada, where she is a local Director of Hog Ranch Minerals Inc. for ASX listed Rex Minerals Ltd (ASX:RXM) which is advancing a 1.4 million ounce gold project in Nevada.
Chairman of the Board
Mr. Parry has over 20 years of experience in the resources sector as an exploration and business development geologist. Mr. Parry is the current President and Chief Executive Officer of IsoEnergy Ltd. and is a co-founder, former director and now senior advisor of NexGen Energy Ltd. He is also a founding partner and shareholder of EMR Capital and former senior advisor to the Fund and was a co-founder of the Tigers Realm Group and was responsible for the business development activities since inception in 2008 to 2015. Mr. Parry acted as CEO of Tigers Realm Coal where he oversaw the acquisition of the Amaam Coal projects, led the discovery of the Amaam North Coal deposit and led the development of the Amaam North Coal mine and related transport and port infrastructure. He was also the Business Development Manager for G-Resources Limited responsible for mergers and acquisitions from 2009 to 2012 and Principal Geologist - New Business at Oxiana Limited responsible for strategy and business development initiatives in bulk and energy commodities. At Rio Tinto he led exploration programs for iron ore, copper, diamonds, coal and bauxite in Australia, Asia and South America and was Principal Geologist for the Kintyre Uranium project pre-feasibility study. Mr. Parry holds an Honours Degree with University Medal in Geology from the University of New South Wales and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
Mr. Coles is currently CEO of Skeena Resources, which acquired the past producing Snip and Eskay Creek gold mines from Barrick. Mr. Coles has served as CEO for several Toronto Stock Exchange listed junior mining exploration and development companies, throughout the past 13 years. Mr. Coles entered the mining business as part of an effort to develop a mineral resource discovered on family farmland in Virginia. He was previously an analyst for Cadence Investment Partners, a New York based investment fund. Prior to that Mr. Coles worked for UBS Investment Bank in New York as a Senior Research Analyst in the bank’s High Yield Group. Mr. Coles started his career at UBS Investment Bank in 1999 as an Associate reporting to the bank’s Global Head of Fixed Income Strategy. Mr. Coles holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Richmond.
Mr. Sorace is a mineral exploration and mining entrepreneur with over 30 years of international business and capital markets experience. Mr. Sorace has founded, financed and led several resource and alternative energy companies with assets and operations in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia, and has raised over $250M in equity and debt financings for both public and private entities. He has served as a Director and held CEO positions with extensive experience in finance, capital markets, operations and management. Mr. Sorace is currently the President & CEO of Kutcho Copper and Founder and Chairman of MineHub Technologies Inc. Mr. Sorace attended Simon Fraser University in Business Administration and the BC Institute of Technology in Management Systems.
Mr. Yates is an independent businessman with extensive experience in resources and development. Mr. Yates founded Hycroft Resources & Development Corporation, which developed the Crofoot property in Nevada, a gold heap leach producer for over 20 years, known as the Hycroft mine. He was a founding director of Alpha Exploration, which developed a uranium deposit and merged with Fission Uranium with a valuation of $189 million in 2013. As a director of Nevada Geothermal Power, over $200 million was raised for the development of a geothermal plant. Mr. Yates has continuously been involved in establishing and financing numerous public companies.
Mr. Konnert is CEO of Vizsla Resources Corp (TSX-VZLA) co-founder and Partner of Inventa Capital Corp., a private natural resource investment company based in Vancouver, BC. Previously, he was co-founder and CEO of Cobalt One Energy Corp. which was acquired by Blackstone Minerals Ltd. (ASX-BSX) in 2017. Mr. Konnert has nearly a decade of experience in the natural resources industry, specifically in executing successful corporate strategies for mineral exploration companies. Mr. Konnert started his career with Pretium Resources Inc. (TSX-PVG) shortly after their $265M IPO. Following that, he spent three years with Riverside Resources Inc. (TSXV-RRI). Mr. Konnert holds a BComm. from Royal Roads University and a Diploma in Entrepreneurship from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Cooper is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in all aspects of corporate and financial management. For the past 35 years, Mr. Cooper has been providing strategic and financial advice and corporate administration services, and has held senior positions with a number of public and private companies with local and international operations. He was formerly the CFO of VRB Power Systems Inc., a TSXV listed company involved in the development and production of flow-battery energy storage systems, CEO and a director of a ship-construction project with a budget in excess of $400 million, Director of Finance & Administration at a shipyard that had employed over 1,000 workers. He currently acts as CFO, corporate secretary and director of various other TSXV listed companies. He has a Hons. Bachelor of Accounting from the University of South Africa and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.
Vice President - Exploration
Mr. Johnson is a global mineral explorer with over 25 years experience across a wide variety of geological terrains, deposit types and geographic areas. With multiple several discoveries to his credit and expertise in applying geophysical methods he brings a wealth of knowledge to the group.
Mr. Johnson has held technical specialist positions with major mining companies (Western Mining Corporation, Rio Tinto) and mid-tier producers (LionOre, Independence Group). He has served on the boards of private (Revelation Geoscience, a Vancouver-based multi-disciplinary geoscience consulting firm acquired by CSA Global) and public (Cassini Resources Ltd, an ASX-listed junior explorer) companies. As a consultant, he has provided advice to explorers in Australia, Asia, Africa, the Americas and Scandinavia.
Mr. Johnson graduated from University of Melbourne in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geophysics. From 1995 to mid-1997, Mr. Johnson completed his Master of Science degree at the University of Utah within the Consortium for Electromagnetic Modeling and Inversion (CEMI), funded by a WMC Company Fellowship. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia.
Mr. Craig is a Nevada based, seasoned exploration geologist boasting over three decades of experience. He has actively led or participated in numerous multi-million-ounce gold discoveries, including Nevada's Silicon Project, Long Canyon Mine, and Marigold Mine and California's Briggs Mine. Mr. Craig brings to Gold Bull a passion for efficiently identifying, evaluating, and developing high caliber gold projects. His methodology integrates model-driven data evaluation to target properties and prospects. Most recently, Mr. Craig identified the Silicon Project from a raw prospect to where it is now, a major epithermal bonanza gold discovery acquired by AngloGold. In Northern Nevada, his team effort advanced Long Canyon from a concept towards a significant operating mine (Long Canyon is now owned by Nevada Gold Mines, a JV between Barrick and Newmont Corporation).
Mr. Craig received his B.S. degree (1982) from Fort Lewis College in Geology, Durango, CO. and a M.S. in Education with a minor in Geology (2000) with honors from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Dr. Grocke is a geologist with over ten years of research experience in the fields of volcanology, igneous petrology, and economic geology. She has conducted exploration and research projects in diverse geologic settings including Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Guatemala, Iceland, and the western U.S. Dr. Grocke has published scholarly journal articles that have advanced the fields of volcanology, experimental petrology, and porphyry systems and led her into a career of mineral exploration and mine development with a focus on Nevada.
Dr. Grocke earned her B.A. in Geology from Colby College and her Ph.D. in Volcanology from Oregon State University. She served as a postdoctoral scholar at the Smithsonian Institution, National Museum of National History, and as a NSF-Fulbright Arctic Research Scholar at the University of Iceland in Reykjavik.
Ms. Hannink has worked in the Nevada gold industry for the past 5 years, primarily in epithermal deposits, both as a mine geologist and an exploration geologist. She most recently worked for Hecla’s Nevadan Regional Exploration Team advancing both brownfield and greenfield projects. Ms. Hannink is proficient at a wide variety of geological skillsets including: surface mapping, rock sampling, 3D geologic modeling, geophysical and geochemical techniques to advance targets. Prior to her 5 years focused on Nevada and Utah gold projects, she worked for 2 years as a geophysicist.
Ms. Hannink earned a Masters of Science (Geophysics) from the University of Reno and her Bachelors of Science (Geology) from the University of Idaho.
Mr. Anderson has over a decade of experience working as a geologist in exploration, production and mineral development, with the last ten years focused across the Great Basin in Nevada. He has expertise in polymetallic massive sulfide, bedded-barite, Carlin Au, porphyry-related Cu-Au skarn and significant exposure to epithermal Au-Ag deposits. Mr. Anderson brings experience in geologic field work and property evaluations, targeting, and design and management of drill programs. He is proficient in GIS, 3D geologic modeling and database structure and management.
Mr. Anderson received his B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Georgia in 2006 and earned his M.Sc. through the Ralph J. Roberts Center for Research in Economic Geology at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2013. This research focused on the stratigraphy, structure and mineralization of the Sandman epithermal deposit, a core asset of the Company. Mr. Anderson’s thesis is available to the public at:
Mr. Vance is a Geologist with forty years experience (including 26 years with Newmont) of exploration in a wide variety of metallic deposits, including epithermal gold-silver veins, gold skarns, intrusion-related Au-Cu and IOCGs, and sedimentary-hosted massive sulfide deposits in the Belt Supergroup. Mr. Vance boasts extensive knowledge and specialized expertise of low-sulfidation bonanza veins, epithermal hot spring, and sediment-hosted gold-silver deposits in northern Nevada and the western U.S.
Mr. Vance is a proven leader of exploration teams in near-mine and grassroots environments, beneath headframes and in the bush. Mr. Vance has an ability to recommend and execute effective exploration programs using geology, geophysical surveys, remote-sensing tools, and regional concepts. He has participated in and managed small teams that discovered or expanded gold and silver deposits at Midas, Hollister, True North (Alaska), and Fire Creek.
